This was the return match against Sth Belgrave on our own turf, Jason stressed the importance of keeping focused and to play out the whole game. This game was going to give us a chance to build on our percentage to firm our 2nd position on the ladder.
Again we had multiple changes to the line up with Gibbo, Groma, Luggie and Skills returning with Derek S coming in for his first senior game.
We kicked with the wind in the first qtr and dominated around the ground but didn't capitalise only this kicking 4.7 to 2.1. Jason shuffled the matchups at the 1st break and asked for a stronger commitment from the squad to work the ball forward and keep the scoreboard ticking over. The on ball division stepped into another gear and went about the business of building our score. The backline shutdown the forwards and ran the ball out of the back half to give the on ballers and forwards first use of the ball. We went to the break holding Sth Belgrave goalless and increasing our lead by another 5 goals.
After the break we went into overdrive constantly gaining possession of the ball and feeding the forwards who converted the chances into a 7 goal qtr, Jason gathered the team together and asked for an all out effort in the last qtr to build on our percentage. The boys responded to hold the opposition to 1 goal and pour on 19 scoring shots to give us 12 goals for the best 4th qtr of the season.
An outstanding game with Jnr dominating in the first half before injury, Muddy running havoc from his wing, Lenny must had sore hands at the end of the day from all his handballs and with the skipper resting in the forward line taking a lazy 13 grabs and kicking 5 goals. Gromma  kicking 8 goals for the day ( all in the second half ) with more than half the side scoring goals for the day resulted in a great win for the team.
